Case 21: Lizard Point 1943 ‘The Ghost of Lovers Past’ The extraordinary story of two illicit lovers during WW2 based at a remote RAF radar station on the tip of Cornwall which causes strange events occurring to this day.

Case 22: Fishponds 1924 ‘Evening Horror’. A parent’s worst nightmare when a child goes missing from their home one evening with a mystery caller at the front door. Who is he or she, and more importantly, where is the child.

Case 23: Henleaze 1942 ‘Its Bath Time’. What better than a nice relaxing bath, especially when you are feeling under the weather. The weather certainly changes for the willing and perhaps unwilling participants involved, especially when the police take an interest.

Case 24: Horsley 1902 ‘The Stealthy Cyclist’. The reasons behind this crime are to this day still a mystery. A disfunctional family, perceived abandonment and two good friends could share some of the reasons behind an unwarranted murder.

Case 25: St Werburghs 1913 ‘The Virtuous Wife’. A loser and his girlfriend have different opinions on how to live their lives, with a tragic outcome. Rumours, lies and and a brutal death unfold.

Case 26: Hanham Woods 1935. ‘The Smallholders Wife’ Should she stay or should she go, where ever she is staying or going. It’s all decided by murder, and some eventual unintended consequences.

Case 27: Coleford 1928 ‘The Unwholesome Pace’. A thoroughly despicable husband and individual, some sheep dip and a suspicious death. Is it murder or natural causes. At the time the whole country was poised for a decision; guilty or not guilty. The outcome is not as simple as it seems.

Case 28: Broadmead 1946 ‘The Cinema Manager’. Shots are fired on the silver screen at the Odeon cinema in front of hundreds of people watching a good old fashioned Western movie. But one shot is not on the screen and leads to dire consequences.

Episode 29: Cheltenham 1938 ‘The Torso In The River’. Two fishermen cast their rods into the river but catch more than they bargained for. This leads the authorities on a merry-go-round of deception and secret lives. But what or who is the real fisherman’s catch.

Case 30: Stokes Croft 1949 ‘The Chancer With Murder On His Mind’. Cats are lovely creatures and much cherished by their owners. In this case they lead to the discovery of a murder and the police to a mysterious stranger.
